Esteemed pharmaceutical expert joins innovative Newport Beach pharmaceutical company
in pursuit of breakthrough medical developments
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Vivera Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an innovative, science-driven pharmaceutical company, has welcomed Dr. Bobby W. Sandage, Jr. to the Company’s Board of Advisors. With nearly four decades of pharmaceutical experience in drug development, regulatory affairs and life sciences venture capital, Dr. Sandage will play a key role in Vivera’s pursuit of patient-centric solutions by leading the development of new medications and life sciences opportunities.
Dr. Sandage is the President and CEO of Euclises Pharmaceuticals, a Saint Louis, M.O.-based drug discovery and development company, a General Partner in the venture fund Cultivation Capital Life Sciences Fund II and Managing Director of the Riney Family Foundation, which supports organizations with the goal of finding a cure for multiple myeloma.
In addition, Dr. Sandage is a Board Member at Geneoscopy, a life sciences company focused on the development of diagnostic tests for gastrointestinal health, and Member to the Advisory Board of the Drug Development Institute of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, among other academic and scientific appointments. A registered pharmacist, Dr. Sandage received his Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy from Purdue University and his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas.

With his background in quality, manufacturing and regulatory affairs, Dr. Sandage will oversee the pharmaceutical development of medications for Vivera and ensure the highest standard of pharmaceutical operations.
